The Pflueger M-328 trolling motor with 28-lbs of thrust and a new space-age prop! circa early 1980s.

Apparently Shakespeare wasn’t the only reel manufacturer that decided they could substantially expand their market footprint by producing electric motors. Pflueger also made ‘em in the early ’80s, and they upped the ante by producing a whopping 28 pounds of thrust, five more than Shakespeare’s wimpy top producer. It must’ve been the “space age material props” that made the difference.
