George Cochran, Ray Scott and Dewey Kendrick Bass Master's Classic 1987.

George Cochran (Right) of North Little Rock, Ark., watches as his fish are weighed Saturday during the final day of the BASSMasters Classic fishing tournament in Louisville, Ky. Cochran won the $126,000 tourney. Also watching the scales are scalemaster Dewey Kendrick (left) and BASS founder Ray Scott.

George Cochran’s strategy was to stay-near-home and caught just two little fish, weighing 2 pounds 4 ounces Saturday, but it was enough to win the $126,000 BASS Masters Classic.
